Human Trafficking is the trade of humans of all genders and age
groups for the purpose of forced labor, sexual slavery, commercial sexual exploitation,
low-level criminal activities, begging, and extraction of organs or tissues.
Human Trafficking is a global problem and can occur within the country or
internationally. Human Trafficking is a serious crime and a grave violation of
Human Rights.
Slavery
and the trade in human life considered an historical artefact, but it still
very much persists in in the modern world. As per UNODC: Global Report
on Trafficking in Persons (2012), annual profit generated by Human Trafficking for
forced labor worldwide is US $31.6 Billion.
